The Image of Our Lady of America is from a statue made in her likeness as
she requested.
The Visitation of
this image is for the mission of Purity, Peace and Protection. The mission
is a project of the apostolate of The Missionary Image of Our Lady of
Guadalupe, a lay nonprofit tax-exempt corporation.
The Director of
the Missionary Image apostolate is Dan Lynch. He is a former lawyer and
judge, an author, video and audio producer and a public speaker.
The mission is to
co-ordinate parish Visitations of the image of Our Lady of America. The
Missionary Image apostolate trains local Guardian Teams and entrusts the
image to them. These Teams prepare for the Visitations in cooperation with
the local pastors. The mission is supported by donations, free-will
offerings and sales of religious goods.
The Visitations
consist of Holy Hours of Prayer for Purity, Peace and Protection from a
booklet with the recitation of the Rosary and veneration of the image. There
is a talk explaining the image and the messages of Our Lady. Religious goods
are available for sale to promote the devotion. The Visitations include
works of mercy such as visits to hospitals, nursing homes, prisons and
schools.
The three
greatest needs in the world today are for Purity, Peace and Protection
against the Culture of Death, war, terrorism and natural disasters. Our Lady
of America gave her promises to Sister Mildred. She is the Immaculate
Conception and Mother of Mercy who intercedes with us to The Divine Mercy of
her Son Jesus. Her messages are relevant to the needs of purity, peace and
protection.
