A Litany for Eternal Rest for the Mothers and Their Children Killed by So-Called "Safe and Legal Abortion"

The photo shows Dr. Alvetta King, niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., leading a litany for eternal rest for the mothers and their children killed by so-called "safe and legal abortion".

This litany was prayed at the National Memorial for the Preborn held in Constitution Hall at the March for Life in Washington, DC.

This was an ecumenical prayer service led by Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, and over 100 other ecumenical leaders shown on the stage.

Father Frank preached that abortion is the very opposite of love:

Love says, "I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person."

Abortion says, "I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself."

And isn't it amazing, that the very same words used by the Culture of Death to justify abortion are the words used by Jesus Christ to proclaim life and salvation and love: "This is my body!"
