On several occasions the Image
has wept tears of oil. Once it wept on Christmas Day before the
entire congregation. The priest told them, "Our Lady is weeping on
her Son's birthday for all of her children who have no birthday because
of abortion."
Many people have felt the heartbeat of an unborn child in Mary's womb on
the Image. This has even been confirmed by a nurse with a stethoscope!
Our Lady is teaching us that abortion is about a child and not a choice.
Our Lady Comes to Warroad and Cries!
Local guardian Gail Carson from
Warroad, Minnesota reported that many hearts were moved to go to the
Sacrament of Reconciliation by Our Lady. She said, "Many healings
of relationships took place - healings between a mother and child,
a mother and daughter, even healings within marriages."
When a talk was given on Our Lady of Guadalupe, the church was filled
with the aroma of roses. Some people even reported smelling them
outside the church in the rain!
Later, as the parishioners venerated the Image, one of them cried
out. There were streaks of tears running from Our Lady's eyes all the
way down to her womb. Another woman saw the Image change into the image
of Jesus being condemned by Pilate. She sensed that this is how Jesus
sees the aborted children who, like him, are innocents condemned to an
unjust death.
Venerators Feel Our Lady's Heartbeat
Venerators in Forest Grove, Oregon
felt the heartbeat of Our Lady on the Missionary Image and saw its
colors change from dull to brilliant. Special blessings occurred
the form of "coincidences" that were unlikely to happen but which made
it possible for the Image to get to some unexpected places and to stay
loner so as to visit two additional abortuaries.
"Having traveled with the Image for several days and seeing so many
people touched by Our Blessed Mother, we know her blessings are greatly
multiplying in this area", concluded Guardian Mare Gustafson.
St. Louis Flood Prematurely Recedes
In late July, Guardian Dan Lynch
spoke at the St. Louis Eucharistic Congress during the height of the
greatest flood in the United States history. In his talk he
explained how Our Lady of Guadalupe interceded to save Mexico City from
a horrible flood in 1634. The flood had already killed 30,000
people. The desperate citizens, imploring Our Lady's help, carried
the Miraculous Tilma through the knee-high flood waters from the
Basilica to the Cathedral in Mexico City. This was the first and
only time such a procession has taken place. The flood
miraculously ended.
After his talk, Dan was asked by congress attendees to take the
Missionary Image to the flooding Mississippi River. This river was
originally named the River of the Immaculate Conception. Our Lady of
Guadalupe is a representation of the Immaculate Conception.
Dan explains, "I made an announcement that we were having a
spontaneous procession with the Missionary Image to the river. About
200 people joined us as we processed from the Cathedral of St. Louis to
the great arch of the Gateway to the West and down the flood swept
steps to the riverside. There we were joined by hundreds of onlookers
as we sprinkled holy water into the river and prayed in the pouring rain
for an abatement of the flood, the salvation of the dead and the healing
of the sufferers. We concluded by singing 'America the Beautiful.'
As we processed back, the rain suddenly stopped and as we sang the very
last note of the 'Hail Holy Queen', the cathedral bells unexpectedly
rang out jubilantly at 5:20 p.m.! As we placed the Image into our
van, a large flock of swallows suddenly swooped over and circled
continuously. There were no other birds seen anywhere else."
The next day the flood waters began to recede one day before the
predicted high crest, which never came. The congress organizers credit
this to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
May she end the flood of sin as she ends the flood of waters!
Man Renounces Gang Association and Returns to the Sacraments
"Mary and Jesus touched many hearts in the short time the
Missionary Image was with us!" said Frank and Nancy Otlo of Sacramento,
California. They cite in particular a young man who came in off the
streets into a church where the Missionary Image was being venerated.
"The young man indicated his desire to get out of one of the many gangs
in South Sacramento. Members of the Spanish prayer group and others
prayed to Mary and the Holy Spirit to keep and heal them. Fr. Pena, a
priest who ministers to inmates of Folsom Prison, 'happened to be
there.' He heard the young man's Confession and gave him the
Eucharist. The young man renounced his gang association an gave Our
Lady his gang scarf."
Mother Rejects Abortion, Returns to
Thank Our Lady for Melting her Heart
Guardian June Ritchie told how
she had the privilege to witness the fruit of a previous Visitation of
the Missionary Image to the area. June was preparing the Image to
be transferred to the Guardian team from Charlotte. "Just before
this occurred, a woman, her adult daughter and baby granddaughter dashed
into the church, pleading to see the Missionary Image. Two years
ago we processed with Missionary Image to pray at an abortion killing
center in Greensboro, North Carolina - it received much publicity.
That day there was a young pregnant woman who intended to kill her
unborn baby because she had been told there were problems with the
child. Upon arriving at the killing center and seeing Our Lady of
Guadalupe, she decided against the abortion."
"Now, almost two years later,
we had the honor of witnessing that same young mother, with her own
mother, presenting the child she almost killed, now almost two years
old, to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Protectress of the Unborn. She came
to thank Our Lady for saving her child. The little girl's first
word was 'Jesus'."
Husband Converts
"My husband went to Confession
for the first time in 25 years," a Guardian happily reported. She
explained that she had prayed for his conversion for years but it wasn't
until the Missionary Image visited their home that her prayers were
answered.
During the night of the Image's Visitation she smelled a beautiful
aroma of roses but she said nothing to her husband. She didn't want him
to think that she was crazy.
The next day her husband went to Confession. Later he told his
wife, "Last night I smelled an overwhelming aroma of roses near the
Image but I said nothing to you because I didn't want you to think I was
crazy."
It
was a wonderful confirmation for both of them to share the same idea
More Conversions
Through her Missionary Image, Our
Lady has melted the hearts of many women who had planned to have their
babies killed. Cathy, a professional journalist, interviewed Dan
Lynch at a Marian Conference. She asked him, "How will Mary end
abortion?" He replied, "She will melt hearts and the melted heart
of a mother would never consider killing her innocent, helpless child;
she will reverence the life within her an bring it to birth!" At
this point, Cathy broke down, crying and told him, "I had an abortion
ten years ago. You are the first person in the world that I have
told. I named my son Joshua and have asked him to forgive me."
Mr. Lynch quickly arranged for her to receive the sacraments of
Reconciliation and the Eucharist that day, for the first time since her
abortion. They both felt great joy at her response to Our Lady's
call to come back to the Sacred Heart of her Son and His holy church.
She now Evangelizes youth for chastity and reverence for life.
One day, while the Missionary Image
was placed in a public park for veneration, a pregnant mother named
Vicki walked by. She had already decided to abort her baby, but
when she looked at the Missionary Image, her knees began to shake and
she spontaneously began to cry. "When I saw the Missionary Image,
it was like the Holy Spirit was coming into me and waking me up after
many years." Although Vicki was unaware of the significance of the
image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, she heard an interior voice say to her,
"You are called to motherhood!" She instantly decided against
killing her baby chose life and put her trust in God. God rewarded
her trust and she gave birth to a healthy boy in a Catholic hospital.
She has returned to the sacraments after years of involvement in the New
Age movement, and has decided to spend the rest of her life helping
mothers and their unborn children. "It's made all the difference
in the world," Vicki said, "to know that there are people who are ready
to help, people who care."
On another day, a pregnant mother named Helena, who was waiting inside a
"clinic" to have an abortion saw Fr. Pavone and a group of pro‑lifers
outside, praying the Rosary beside the Missionary Image. When Helena
looked out, and saw the Roman collar she thought, "There's a priest out
there! What am I doing in here?" Helena changed her mind, came outside
and received help from the pro-lifers. She later gave birth to her
child, who was baptized by Father Frank and appropriately named
Guadalupe.
One repentant mother-victim of abortion was ashamed to confess it, "I
did not confess this horrid sin until after learning about Our Lady of
Guadalupe. The Image drew me to herself, she who is beautiful,
living and who guided me towards self-knowledge. I finally found
the love and peace that is only possible through the sacrament of
Reconciliation." Our Lady of Guadalupe also saved a mother who had
had four abortions! She said, "I now consecrate myself daily to
the holy Virgin Mother of Guadalupe and I ask her to make me an
instrument to end abortion by melting hearts. I believe that
Our Lady of Guadalupe will heal all those who have been wounded by the
grave sin of abortion and that she is the shield that will protect
unborn children and their mothers."
Healings
In November, 1992, a four year-old girl named Alex lay dying in a
Kentucky hospital of a rare lung disease, bronchiolitis obliterans.
Local Missionary Image Guardian, Debbie Womack, brought the Image into
Alex's hospital room on the day doctors had predicted that she would
die. Alex was lifted up to the Image and she tenderly touched and
kissed Our Lady. The next day when the doctors went to Alex's room,
they were shocked to find the little girl playing and eating a
hamburger! Alex's mother credits the healing to our Lady of Guadalupe
through her Missionary Image. Many other healings have been reported by
Our Lady's intercession through her Missionary Image.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Cries!
Tears of Oil, Blood and Roses
Washed away by our prayers
Many tears have appeared on images of our Lady of Guadalupe. The
photograph above shows The Missionary Image crying tears of oil. Another
image cried tears of blood and an image distributed by the
Missionary Image apostolate cried tears of roses! Why is Our
Lady crying?
Pope John Paul II said, "These are the tears
of sorrow for all those who refuse the love of God, for those
families who are broken or in difficulty, for the young people
seduced by a consumerist civilization and so often disoriented,
for the violence that still spill so much blood and for the
misunderstandings and hate which dig deep trenches between
individuals and peoples. They are tears of prayer and tears of
hope, which melt the hardness of hearts and open them to meeting
Christ the Redeemer, source of light and peace for individuals,
for families, for the whole of society."
The angel of Akita, Japan said, "She weeps
because she wishes the conversion of the greatest number. She
desires that souls be consecrated to Jesus and to the Father by
her intercession." The Akita revelations which occurred
between 1973 and 1981 were approved by the Church. Bishop Ito who
approved them said, "It seems to me that Our Heavenly Father
needs to purify this corrupt world before allowing mankind to
enter the 21st century. The Blessed Mother appears to ask for
souls who will offer up their fervent prayers, sacrifices, and
sufferings to God in order to contribute to the realization of
God's Kingdom of Justice and Love." This is the meaning of
Total Consecration, the spirituality of Pope John Paul II whose
papal motto, Totus Tuus, means "Totally Yours."
A Guardian of the Missionary Image said she
received a message from Our Lady of Guadalupe which requested the
Total Consecration. Our Lady said, "I have gathered you my
roses and you have yet to bloom. I water you with my graces and
my presence. I ask you for your hearts to know and love Jesus.
Pour yourselves out and allow me to fill you with the blessings
of Our Father in heaven."
Our Lady cries over a corrupt world for the sake
of its conversion which will be accomplished by our Total
Consecration to God through her intercession. This remedy for the
world which will stop Our Lady's tears if fully explained it the
book, The Call to Total Consecration, written by Daniel J. Lynch.
Several witnesses saw the Missionary Image cry
after the Baptism of three children in Huntington, New York. They
believed she cried because so many of her unborn children die
from abortion without Baptism. Two young teenagers
witnessed the Missionary Image crying during all-night adoration
of the Blessed Sacrament at a Catholic university chapel in
Spokane, Washington. Only one student came for adoration that
night while many others partied right outside the chapel.
A plaque of Our Lady of Guadalupe wept apparent
tears of blood on her feast day in a private home in Lewis,
Kansas. One of the witnesses said, "She was crying blood
this morning. Several of us prayed a Rosary and she began to cry
tears again and the tears washed the blood from her eyes."
The homeowner said, "Hopefully, we can all be united and
pray a great deal."
A full-size image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
distributed by the Missionary Image apostolate wept copious tears
in front of many witnesses including a priest in Wesley Chapel,
Florida. As the tears fell down the image, they turned into rose
petals before the very eyes of the astonished witnesses and
dropped to the floor! Prayer can wash away tears of blood and
turn tears into rose petals! Let us pray!
Our Lady of Guadalupe's tears call with the Holy
Father in his Gospel of Life for a "mobilization of
consciences for life." We
should examine our consciences regarding our pro-life prayer and
work to see if we are responding to Our Lady of Guadalupe's call
to Blessed Juan Diego and to all of us, "Do the best
that you can!"
Are you doing your best? Have you made the Total
Consecration? Do you pray the daily Rosary for an end to
abortion, the conversion of the mother victims and abortion
supporters and the salvation of the unborn children killed by
abortion? Do you fast? Do you make sacrifices? Do you adore Jesus
in the Blessed Sacrament? Do you practice the First Friday and
First Saturday Devotions? Do you pray the Rosary at an abortion
center? Do you help at crisis pregnancy centers? Do you
support pregnant mothers in their needs of food, shelter,
clothing and medical help? Do you give financial help until it
hurts? Do you trust in God and His ways or your ways? Do you
still think that you are doing your best? Everyone of us can do
better. Let's try!
