The Image has been venerated by hundreds of thousands. There have been
thousands of Masses, Confessions, hours of adoration before the Blessed
Sacrament and Rosaries said in the presence of the Image. Our Lady's
Image has led the largest pro-life Rosary processions ever seen in
various cities including Dublin (Ireland), Port of Spain (Trinidad),
Melbourne (Australia) and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania). Many abortions
have been averted and at least twenty abortuaries have been closed
through Our Lady of Guadalupe's intercession. The Irish clergy credit
the voting down of a proposed Constitutional amendment to "legalize"
abortion in Ireland to her intercession.
One priest who had sponsored the visitation of the
Image, reported, "Our Lady melted hearts everywhere she went! In her
travels near Dayton, Ohio, Our Lady visited five abortuaries, and two
grade schools totaling over 1,000 students, 13 parishes, a university
chapel, a renewal center and a women's prison. Almost everyone who
venerates the Image is touched in one way or another. Some are given an
inner strength to deal with their problems and adversities, others
receive confirmation of their prayer petitions, many are led to
Confession and Communion or to Eucharistic adoration and some are
miraculously healed."
A Visitation to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas attracted an estimated
34,000 Valley residents with their prayers, their hopes, their fears
and their dreams before the Missionary Image during a nine‑day
pilgrimage for life with Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests
for Life. "What a marvelous pilgrimage it was!", said Fr. Pavone. "It
was like a powerful retreat for me, and I was inspired by the faith of
the people and the jubilation and beauty that marked the celebrations."
The Image visited 25 churches and an abortion center where the precious
life of an unborn baby was saved. Local Guardian, Sr. Nancy Boushey,
O.S.B., acknowledged that the child's life was saved through "the
intercession of Mary and the prayerful presence of those who accompanied
the Image and counseled the mother not to destroy the human life she was
carrying."
The residents responded with love and some with tears of joy as they
gazed upon and touched of kissed the Image. People came from across the
Valley to participate at Mass, to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament,
sign hymns to our Blessed Mother, pray the Rosary and pray for their
families and for life. More than 100 people attended classes in
preparation for making the Total Consecration to Our Lady according to
St. Louis de Montfort, which Pope John Paul II had made as a young man
and which has had such a profound influence in his spiritual life.
The
Image also visited a juvenile center where television cameras focused on
the conversion stories of 20 young prisoners who said they would
henceforth totally consecrate their lives to Jesus through Mary.
As the Visitation ended at St. Anthony's Church in Harlingen, men,
women, youth and small children followed the Image to the parking lot
for an emotional farewell. They reached out to touch the Image one
last time. The Image has been venerated by hundreds of thousands.
Many conversions, healings, reconciliation's and graces have also been
reported.
10,000 Venerate Missionary Image During
Autumn Visit to Connecticut
Frank
Farrington reported that the lines spilled outside to the street as
10,000 people came to venerate the Missionary Image during her visit to
three parishes in Connecticut.
Trumpet fanfare welcomed Our Lady to St. Vincent Ferrer Church in
Naugatuck followed by twelve full hours of prayer and song. Novices of
the Apostles of the Sacred Heart, who later in the day would make their
consecration, venerated Our Lady. Two homebound individuals wept and
proclaimed they never thought "the Mother of my Lord would come to visit
me" when the Missionary Image was brought to their homes.
Frank remarked, "What impressed me most throughout the entire Visitation
was the faces and reactions of the people. With tears flowing down
their cheeks, many would touch the Image. Others brought flowers to
place at her feet, some obviously even picked on the way to church!"
All three churches reported a heightened sense of unity and community as
a fruit of the spiritual events.
34,000 Join in Pilgrimage for Life
Rio
Grande Valley, Texas. An estimated 324,000 Valley residents
brought their prayers, their hopes, their fears and their dreams before
the Missionary Image during a nine-day pilgrimage for life with
Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life.
"What a marvelous pilgrimage with was!", said Father Pavone. "It
was like a powerful retreat for me, and I was inspired by the Faith of
the people and the jubilation and beauty that marked the celebrations."
The Image visited 25 churches and an abortion killing center where the
life of an unborn baby was saved. The mother changed her mind and chose
against the abortion and for life.
Guardian Sister Nancy Boushey, OSB said the child's life was
saved because of "the intercession of Mary and the prayerful presence of
those she accompanied the Image and counseled the mother to protect
human life."
The residents responded with love - and some with tears of joy -
as they gazed up and touched or kissed the Image. Across the
Valley, people came together to celebrate Mass, to adore Jesus in the Blessed

say the
Rosary and to pray for their families and for life. More than 100
people participated in preparatory classes to make the Total
Consecration of St. Louis de Montfort.

At St. Anthony's Church in Harlingen, men, women, youth and small
children followed the Image out to the parking lot for an emotional
farewell. They reached to touch the Image one last time, sang Marian
hymns and waved good-bye when the Image was lifted into a pick-up truck
for its departure.
Visitation Requirements
If you would like to host a Visitation of the Missionary Image of
Guadalupe, please contact us.
A Visitation consists of visits of the Image to
different sites and promotion of Our Lady's Mission to end abortions and
bring conversions in the New Evangelization.
If you request to be a Guardian for a Visitation, you will be asked to
commit yourself to a Visitation. The Visitation will then be
confirmed. You must then form a Guardian Team to plan and implement the
Visitation including the sites; the liturgies, hours of veneration, the
publicity and the distribution of the religious goods.
